Overview

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist — a synthetic analog of the endogenous incretin hormone GLP-1. It functions by increasing insulin secretion in response to glucose, lowering glucagon release, delaying gastric emptying, and reducing appetite through hypothalamic GLP-1 receptor activation. One of the most studied metabolic compounds of the past decade, Semaglutide has been investigated for significant body weight reduction, glycemic control, and cardiovascular risk reduction in metabolic syndrome research.

Key Benefits
  • GLP-1 receptor agonist — mimics endogenous incretin hormone to regulate multiple metabolic pathways
  • Studied for significant body weight reduction through appetite suppression
  • Promotes glucose-dependent insulin secretion and lowers glucagon — improves glycemic control
  • Delays gastric emptying — prolongs satiety and reduces total caloric intake
  • Cardiovascular risk reduction studied in type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome research
  • Long half-life (~1 week) — studied with once-weekly administration protocols
Reconstitution
Add 4mL bacteriostatic water to achieve 5mg/mL concentration.

Each 0.1mL of solution contains 500mcg of Semaglutide.

Swirl gently — do not shake. Allow to fully dissolve.
Storage
Must be refrigerated after reconstitution. Store lyophilized powder below 25°C, away from direct light. Do not freeze reconstituted solution.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
