Overview
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide analog of the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg), developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It has been studied for its neuromodulatory, anxiolytic, and nootropic properties, with a key advantage over classical anxiolytics: it shows no sedation, physical dependence, or withdrawal symptoms. Research suggests it modulates multiple neurotransmitter systems including serotonin, dopamine, and GABA.
Key Benefits
Anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) effects without sedation or dependency risk
Modulates serotonergic, dopaminergic, and GABAergic neurotransmitter systems
Research into mood stabilization and emotional regulation pathways
Cognitive function studies, focus, memory consolidation, and learning
Immunomodulatory effects, modulates cytokine expression and immune response
Reconstitution
Add 1mL bacteriostatic water to achieve 10mg/mL concentration.
Each 0.1mL of solution contains 1mg of Selank.
Swirl gently, do not shake. Allow to fully dissolve.
Storage
Must be refrigerated after reconstitution. Store lyophilized powder below 25°C, away from direct light. Do not freeze reconstituted solution.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
