Overview
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide analog of the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg), developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It has been studied for its neuromodulatory, anxiolytic, and nootropic properties — with a key advantage over classical anxiolytics: it shows no sedation, physical dependence, or withdrawal symptoms. Research suggests it modulates multiple neurotransmitter systems including serotonin, dopamine, and GABA.
Key Benefits
Anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) effects without sedation or dependency risk
Modulates serotonergic, dopaminergic, and GABAergic neurotransmitter systems
Research into mood stabilization and emotional regulation pathways
Cognitive function studies — focus, memory consolidation, and learning
Immunomodulatory effects — modulates cytokine expression and immune response
Reconstitution
Add 1mL bacteriostatic water to achieve 10mg/mL concentration.
Each 0.1mL of solution contains 1mg of Selank.
Swirl gently — do not shake. Allow to fully dissolve.
Storage
Must be refrigerated after reconstitution. Store lyophilized powder below 25°C, away from direct light. Do not freeze reconstituted solution.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
